AGIS - ArbeitsGemeinschaft für Internationale Sprachmittlung - is an alliance of freelance conference interpreters and professional translators whose goal it is to provide the best in interpreting and translation services. We contribute our skills, our knowledge and our experience in the planning, organisation and execution of your international meeting, and support you professionally in the translation of your foreign language documents. Our language specialists are, without exception, qualified, experienced, and, if required, sworn translators, and they all have a university degree. Naturally, we select the translator who is the most qualified to work on your assignment according to your specific needs. All our interpreters and translators work professionally as full-time freelancers, and are not just casual translators. What can AGIS offer you? • A competent contact person will advise you on planning and organisation through to execution and will, if required, also interpret/translate personally for you. You will be assigned the translator whose qualifications best fit the scope of your assignment.

• Flexibility – our clients' requirements become our own and we synthesize accuracy with adherence to deadlines.
• We feel that it is important that clients can reach us at any time, which is why we are there for you 24 hours a day – even on weekends. We are not an anonymous agency and attach great importance to establishing a personal relationship with our clients, because we can translate for you best when we know you!
• Our particular speciality is industrial interpretation, i.e. interpreting technical training on site.
• We provide an impartial needs analysis and - on that basis – make you a fair and non-binding quote.
• Our clients come from many different sectors, which means that our expertise covers a very wide spectrum, and we are well versed in many individual specialised terminologies (e.g. market research and marketing, technical issues, banking, commerce, medicine, IT and much more).
